Template Policies
Website Template Delivery Terms
Your purchased template will be delivered to you within 48 hours of completing your order. The template will be sent to your Squarespace account using the email address you provided at checkout. You are responsible for setting up a free Squarespace account prior to delivery to ensure you can access the template link we send.
While we strive to meet this delivery window consistently, occasional delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control. Should you not receive your template within this timeframe, please reach out to our support team. Please be aware that deliveries may take longer during weekends and holiday periods.
When you buy a template, you'll receive an invitation to accept the template as a new website within your Squarespace account. This delivery does not include integration into an existing website unless you've specifically added an installation service to your order.
After receiving your template, all customisation and content addition becomes your responsibility. We cannot reverse any modifications you make to the design once it's in your possession.
One-Time Delivery Terms
Your template purchase entitles you to a single delivery of your selected design.
Should any of the following occur, a new purchase will be required to receive the template again:
You modify the template and require a fresh copy
Your platform's trial period expires before you activate the template (within the 12-month access window)
Your site is removed by the hosting platform due to an expired trial period
To prevent trial expiration issues, we recommend either upgrading to a paid hosting plan promptly or requesting a trial extension from your platform provider.
Returns and Exchanges
As our products are delivered digitally and immediately accessible, we cannot provide a refund once your purchase is finalised. We encourage you to thoroughly review all demo previews, feature descriptions, technical requirements, and frequently asked questions before completing your order. For any pre-purchase enquiries about specific templates, please contact us first.

Issues directly related to your purchased template
Download and file access problems
Technical difficulties with the initial setup
Questions about the installation process
We're unable to provide assistance for:
Platform-specific questions unrelated to the template
Custom design modifications or requests
Code alterations or troubleshooting custom code
Third-party software issues
Support requests can be submitted via email to cathrin@thesocialmagpie.com. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 2 business days, Monday through Friday.
Installation Service Terms
(Applies only to orders including our professional installation add-on)
Our installation service involves transferring your selected template into your current website environment.
Standard installation completion time is 1 business day, though this may fluctuate based on project complexity or unexpected technical challenges. If your installation hasn't been completed within this window, please contact our support team. Weekend and holiday installations may experience extended timeframes.
Following installation completion, the template becomes your property and all subsequent changes are your responsibility. We cannot undo modifications made after our work is complete.
We take precautions to protect your existing content during installation; however, we cannot be held liable for any unintended content disruption or data loss that may occur during the integration process.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any installation request. Should we cancel an installation order, the installation fee will be fully refunded, though the template purchase itself is non-refundable.
Usage Rights and Licensing
Full Website Templates: Each purchase grants a single-use licence for one website project. Multiple websites require multiple licence purchases.
Social Media Design: Licensed for one business or project with unlimited reuse of the templates within that single entity.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
When building client projects with our templates, you may not present the designs as exclusively your own original work.
Reselling, redistributing, or claiming authorship of our designs is strictly prohibited.
Sharing template files, design elements, or any included assets with third parties is not permitted.
Photography and imagery included in templates are for layout demonstration only and remain the property of their original creators. You must substitute your own licensed images before launch. We accept no responsibility for copyright violations resulting from unauthorised use of demo images.
All designs, files, and creative elements (excluding demo photography and third-party graphics tools) are copyrighted property of Social Magpie Design Co, and we retain all intellectual property rights.
We reserve the right to feature your completed website in our portfolio, marketing materials, or social media channels for promotional purposes.
